The Bellson series was started by Steve & Dorothy Sears some years ago, in the memory of Julius Bellson. Julius his wife Marge and others started the first Duplicate Bridge Club in Kalamazoo way back in October 1957. From what we hear Julius & Marge won the first event. Later Julius went on to become this areas first Gold Life Master.
